Item description from seller

King Features Syndicate, Inc., 1987., 1987. Fine. - An original pen & ink drawing consisting of 2 panels drawn on 3-7/8 inch high by 13-1/4 inch wide art paper. The strip portrays Mr. Abernathy seated on a couch passionately kissing a young woman. As the smoke alarms go off in the next panel, the young woman proclaims "You set off the smoke alarms again" to which Abernathy replies "Some men have it, some men don't". The syndicate's credits are printed on a strip of paper mounted between the 2 panels, with the date "1-31" penned at the bottom left of the second panel. Signed by Frank Ridgeway at the bottom right of the first panel. There is a light blue graphite marking at the right edge of the strip. Near fine.
