A signed, deluxe edition of King's monumental horror novel featuring thirty black-and-white illustrations by Alan M. Clark and Erin S. Wells, with a wraparound dust jacket by Glen Orbik, and a new afterword in which King admits: "I worked on the book in a dream. I remember very little about the writing of it, except for the idea that I'd gotten hold of something that felt very big to me, and something that talked about more than monsters." Cemetery Dance undertook their most ambitious King project to date with this massive production, printing the text in red and black throughout. The book is bound in Cromwell black flanders grain leather and Asahi Japanese bookcloth, and a dust jacket particular to this lettered issue. While the original trade edition sold hundreds of thousands of copies, this limited version was held to just 52 copies, each signed by King and the three artists (there were also 750 numbered copies). 1052 pages, perhaps the largest book attempted to that point by Cemetery Dance. Fine copy in fine dust jacket and very near fine padded traycase. This is copy WW of 52 signed by Stephen King and the three illustrators.
