Jack Sharkey (1902-1994) was an American heavyweight boxing champion, defeating Max Schmeling at Madison Square Garden in June of 1932. This piece of notepaper, measuring 3" x 4 1/4", is signed: "To James [unreadable] With best regards, Jack Sharkey 7/20/78."
