Sir Edward Heath (1916 2005) was a British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1974 and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1965 to 1975. Heath also served for 51 years as a Member of Parliament from 1950 to 2001. Outside politics, Heath was a yachtsman, a musician, and an author. These three works describe his primary passions in life: Music, sailing and travel. 1. Music, A Joy of Life, 2nd printing, 1976, signed on the ffep 2. Sailing, A Course of My Life, 4th printing, 1975, signed on the front pastedown 3. Travels, People and Places in My Life, 1st edition, 1977, signed on the ffep All three volumes are in near fine condition, with just slight bumping at the spine ends.
