First Edition, First Printing. Signed by Neta Snook Southern. A highly collectible first edition, first printing of I Taught Amelia to Fly by Neta Snook Southern, boldly signed by the author on the title page. In this fascinating firsthand memoir, Neta Snook Southern recounts her pioneering career in aviation and her lasting place in history as the woman who taught Amelia Earhart to fly. Blending personal recollections with the excitement and challenges of the early days of aviation, the book offers a unique perspective on one of the twentieth century's greatest aviation legends. As one of the few firsthand accounts written by Earhart's flight instructor, this work remains an important piece of aviation history and an increasingly sought-after title among collectors. The book is in Near Fine condition, with a clean, tight binding, bright pages, and exceptionally well-preserved boards. The dust jacket is in Very Good condition, showing only light wear consistent with age while remaining bright, complete, and highly presentable. A scarce signed first edition, first printing by one of aviation's early pioneers, this is an exceptional collectible for enthusiasts of Amelia Earhart, aviation history, women's history, and signed twentieth-century first editions. The dust jacket is protected in a clear archival-quality protective cover and will be shipped that way.…
