The large tinted lithographs show a horse "walking", "ambling", "trotting", "cantering", "galloping" and "leaping", always accompanied by a horseman.Light spotting in the margins, one plate with a short tear in the margin. Spine worn, some soiling to wrappers.l Podeschi 170; WorldCat (6 copies); not in Abbey; Huth. Original brown paper wrappers. With 6 tinted plates signed R.F.R. and lithographed by Day & Haghe.
