Hard cover is bound in full light gray Italian linen with a Pompeii design in a darker grey. Very slight rubbing to covers, pages are clean and tight; appears as if unused. Paper is high quality, Muslianco paper, printed at the Officina Bodoni, Verona and illustrated with woodcuts by Kurt Craemer from designs he saw in Pompeii. Slip case is grey with paste down on spine. Slight rubbing. Classic Victorian tale of the last days of Pompeii. International shipping is done using a Freight Forwarder. We send the book to a US domestic address, where it is consolidated by the shipper. When there are sufficient items for the FF to send them onwards, they will do so. This takes ca. 2-6 weeks for international packages to be delivered.
On international orders it is the responsibility of the buyer to know any rules, regulations, laws, etc., regarding what may, or may not, be imported.
Any and ALL customs/duties/import fees/etc. are payable by the buyer. They are NOT included in the cost of postage.
It is the responsibility of the buyer, in a foreign country, to know what is permissable to be imported. Any/all rules/laws/regulations which may affect the delivery of ordered item are the responsibility of the buyer NOT the seller [ME].
