First edition, first printing. Signed by Orville Wright and inscribed to a former owner on the title page. Bound in publisher's original blue cloth with spine titles lettered in white. Near Fine with toning to paged and a short closed tear at the top of the half-title page mended with a small piece of tape. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with heavy fading to the spine, a little tattered with tape mends and amateur color touch-ups. An authorized biography of the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur. Two American aviation pioneers, the Wright brothers are generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful motor-operated airplane.
