Octavo. Light brown cloth covered boards and spine with gilt lettering on the spine. Book has a light bumping at the head and tail of the spine and just the faintest trace of rubbing at the extreme tips of the outside corners. Gilt lettering on the spine is fading, but still gold in color and a little shiny. White endpapers. Signed and inscribed by the author on the free front endpaper: "For my friend --- / with all best wishes / Eric S." Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 516 pages, plus a 6 page Index. No dust jacket. Of Sevareid's book, The Atlantic Monthly writes "Not So Wild a Dream is among the finest of autobiographies of American {World War I] correspondants.". Seller Inventory # 011716
