In 1950 the Phillies, a team filled with young players, surprisingly won the National League pennant. They garnered the nickname "The Whiz Kids" as a result. Robin Roberts, who won 20 games for the Phils that year tells about it. It is inscribed by Roberts. The condition of both book and dust jacket fine.
