First Edition, first printing (as confirmed by McBride), inscribed to Albert Lord by the editor and author (he has a couple of pieces in the book) on the half-title page this book is really as new, unread and unblemished save for minor shelf wear on front lower text block and some tiny check marks and one word written in th table of contents. Spine stiff, boards square and tips pointed. Dust jacket in not price clipped but has a two inch closed tear on the front cover top. However, looks distinguished in a new plastic cover. Shipping box suitable for wrapping. BTW, Albert Lord was a professor of Slavic and Comparative Literature at Harvard and later a full professor there in Classics.
