SIGNED by the author, art teacher IDA E. BOYD, who taught at The Brooklyn Training School for Teachers (located in East New York, Brooklyn). While the book was intended as an educational instruction manual on the art of silhouette cutting for teachers, it really would appeal to anyone interested in this type of art. The volume is hardbound in ORIGINAL DECORATIVE BOARDS. The author's dedicatory note and signature appears on the flap along with another gift notation dated 1932. Approx. 6x8", 92 pages, (62) b/w illustrations/patterns with accompanying detailed instructions on how to cut the paper. Boards and all pages tight. Pages nicely and uniformly age toned.
