Fiftieth anniversary large-format history of one of South Africa's more extraordinary schools. The alumni read like a Who's Who of public life at the time and include the likes of Johannes Meintjes, Anna Louize Conradie, Marais Viljoen and Eschel Rhoodie. The very striking DJ is rubbed at the edges and has a few small white flecks where loss has occurred - the moreso at the back. The boards are clean and undamaged. There is a damp stain to the ffep outer top corner but this has not carried through to the ensuing pages. The binding is sound. There is some light uniform browning to the endpapers but the contents are unmarked and undiscoloured. The ffep has been signed by the author as well as by six others including the headmaster at the time, JH Uys, and a previous headmaster, HA Lambrechts. 109pp.
