McClelland & Stewart, Toronto, 1947, Hardcover First Edition - so stated. SIGNED BY AUTHOR on second page in without inscription. Book Condition: Very Good minus, with the following issues: light spine lean & roll, fraying and wear at the bottom boards, tiny stain on title page and a bit of soiling on the forward text edge. Dust jacket condition: just about good with a chip out of the spine base - a few other tiny ones and edgewear - comes in a removable, archival, mylar sleeve.
