A bright and handsome and tight first edition of Price's first book, with interesting and appropriate autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf are two fine matching heavy stock 5" X 3" cards signed by two cast members from the 1979 film version -- at top is prolific character actor Val Avery (1924-2009), who portrays Mr. Sharp, who signs hugely in blue marker and adds "May 23, 1969" at upper right; and below him Oscar-winning Olympia Dukakis (born 1931), who portrays Joe Capra's mother, who signs in blue ballpoint and adds "6/3/86" at upper right. Laid in are the Avery and Dukakis transmittal envelopes. YOUNG 3109.
