Add to basketEnglish text. (8), 20 pages. 7.5 x 4.5 inches. Limited, numbered, edition of 500 copies. Signed and dated, May 1946, inscription by the author on the front free end paper. Maroon cloth hard back with gilt tooled type and emblem on front board. Four full page black and white plates of details from the Haggadah. The story of the creation and the dispute around the ownership of the Darmstadt Haggadah. Some wear to edges of the binding but otherwise in excellent condition. The author, wife of Rabbi Herman Rubenowitz, was curator of the Jewish Museum of Temple Mishkan Tefila, Boston.
