From the Back Cover
A celebration of the future
A potent mix of black comedy and lyricism
A startling first novel
Near-future Manchester. Along rainshot streets infested by shadowcops roam the Stash Riders, a posse of hip malcontents, hooked on Vurt feathers – the best drug you could ever imagine.
But, as the Game Cat says, BE CAREFUL, BE VERY CAREFUL
THIS RIDE IS NOT FOR THE WEAK.
But Scribble wouldn’t listen.
Now Scribble is searching for Curious Yellow, the ultimate, perhaps even mythical Vurt feather. A trail which lead him beyond the boundaries of love, self and possibly even return.
”Screams out to be read.”
'City Life'
”Jeff Noon’s stunning, bizarre, compulsive first novel, 'Vurt', brings cyberpunk to Manchester, and transforms the city.
