Author's presentation copy, inscribed to half title. A very uncommon book, with Worldcat only identifying 3 institutional holdings. Voyage en Grece; Journal de bord, by Henry Harrel-Courtes. Provenance; from the library of the late William St Clair (1937 - 2021), British historian, academic and author. His signature in pencil to first free endpaper. Please see our other listings for related works. Published by Mercure de France, Paris, 1957. First (and only) edition. Please note: The title page and publishing information page both show 1957 as the date, but the front cover shows 1958.� It is clear from the printer's information at the rear that the text was printed on 30th December 1957, so the front cover production, and true publication date, must have been slightly later in 1958. We have listed the publication date as 1957, as used on Worldcat, but the true publication date should really be 1958. A very good paperback� with cream printed card wraps. Some age discoloration to cover and some creasing to spine. Text is bright and clear throughout. Map of the author's voyage at rear. Text in French. 102pp. Dimensions: Approximately 186mm high x 118mm wide x 9mm. Weight approximately 86g.
