Oversized hardcover with DJ. Green cloth over boards with gold lettering on front cover and spine. Title page and copyright page dated 2000. Measures 11.5 x 15.5 inches. 335 pages. Book and DJ are in very good condition. Very little wear to cover, which is crisp and clean with bright lettering. Binding is strong and square. Pages are free of marks, tears, or folds. A little wear to DJ, though it remains free of tears and fits snug to boards. Flaps of DJ are folded so that they wrap around top and bottom edges of cover. Overall, a good clean copy. Bookplate on front free endpaper is signed by both authors. Features many large-scale color reproductions of Virginia maps throughout history along with some photographs of topographers at work.
