Inscribed by author on front blank and dated 1888. 12 inserted engraved plates with tissue guards. Covers browned, scuffed and lightly rubbed, corners bumped, spines ends started, spine label worn and faded. Browning to prelims and endpages, offsetting and occasional spotting at plates from tissue guards. A very good copy.
