First Edition. INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper: "For John Flint / with sincere best wishes / John Gregory Dunne / 27 Jul 1982." Very uncommon to find signed. Basis for the 1981 film directed by Ulu Grosbard, starring Robert De Niro and Robert Duvall, and co-written by Dunne and his wife, the writer Joan Didion. About Near Fine in a Near Fine dust jacket. Spine lightly toned, with light foxing on the top left page edges. Jacket has a tiny nick on the heel.
