No. 91 of 275 limited edition copies printed on handmade paper, initialled by the author.The edition de luxe, in the publisher's original quarter crushed morocco binding.Illustrated with fifty-seven tipped in plates, many of which are in colour. Collated, complete.The work of Scottish novelist, essayist, artist, antiquarian, horticulturalist and prominent salmon angler Sir Herbert Eustace Maxwell, 7th Baronet, who in this work presents his detailed observations on various British and exotic trees. In the publisher's original quarter crushed morocco binding, with cloth covered boards. A touch of rubbing to front joint head, with light fading to back strip, as is common with morocco of this shade. Front hinge lightly strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, with only the odd spot. Very Good.
