One of 80 copies issued by The Gotham Bookmart Press (50 of which were for sale), numbered and signed by the author, printed by Victor and Jacob Hammer at the Wells College Press. 8vo. Blue paper-covered boards with two spine labels affixed. pp.[iv] (blank), 80, [iv] (blank), with labels mounted on the title page and colophon (covering the information of The Greystone Press who, it seems, planned a trade edition of 250 copies but went out of business on the eve of publication). His first book (poetry), necessarily rare due not least to the limitation and the circumstances of its publication, but also to a large number of copies being held in institutions. Areas of fading to the boards and a couple of just gentle bumps and mild marks, the edges slightly spotted, the hinges with a couple of most minor splits in production (with no impact), an occasional light spot or patch of soiling, and the front free endpaper with a previous seller's notes in pencil, but in fact partly unopened and held in the fragile original glassine jacket, with inevitable chips and splits but no significant loss, also somewhat spotted primarily to the lower panel, but a decent survival nonetheless. Very Good or better.…

Founded in 2014, we specialise in the British Poetry Revival, the Mimeograph Revolution, and linguistically innovative poetry, although we retain an interest in the underground arts in general. Twice a year we issue a catalogue of new acquisitions, often devoted to the work of a single author. More information is available on our website.
