Toning to edges of boards and spine; shelf wear to edges with boards exposed at corners; minor scratching and soiling. No dust jacket. Binding is tight. Interior is clean except for a few spots of foxing, mostly to endpapers. Small pen mark on rear pastedown. Some pages remain uncut. Frontispiece is a photogravure of the author taken by Ansel Adams.
