Book condition: near fine, a rare find! not only is this a very scarce copy, it is a signed first edition with dust jacket, inscribed and signed by Baden on the ffep, features ten short stories which study Continental women and their reactions to love, set in Europe and England in response to the author's experiences there, dust jacket features a blue/pink/white design on the front and shows moderate soiling to back where there is a small chip to bottom edge, spine lightly sunned, tiny chips off head and tail, small chips off corners, backed with archival paper, the binding is cracked between pages 80/81 and 192/193, mylar cover, blue cloth boards in excellent condition, bright gilt on front and spine, interior very clean, binding tight, 200 pages, 5.25 X 7.75 inches.
