First printing. Presentation copy - inscribed by Rifkin to Thomas Berry, noted theologian, after they met at a Christianity and Ecology Conference. The front end paper is stamped "from the library of Thomas Berry," and he has also attached a library pocket and card to the rear pastedown (no one checked it out!). The boards show a few spots of soiling, and the bottom, rear corner is bumped. Pages are a bit toned, and foxed at top edge. Aside from the inscription, no writing. No underlining, no highlighting. Binding is sound.
