A Thesaurus of Slang, Compiled and Arranged by Howard N. Rose. (It has also been inscribed to his Aunt & Uncle on the front loose end page by Rose.) The book was published by The Macmillan Company in 1934 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. The book is 6" by 8 3/4" and has 120 pages with a Table of Contents leading the user/reader to slang in: Aviation, College, Detective, Hobo, Lumberjack, New England, Newspaper, Oilfield, Railroad, Sea-Fishing, Sports, Theater, Western, and War. The book is NOT an ex-library copy (though it does have the book stamp of his Aunt pasted to the front paste down end page), it has no dust jacket, and it's in good + condition. What a great source of material for the writer of historical fiction! Thank you.
