Over 500 Thought-Provoking Lessons to Inspire a Richer Life
The pace of life has never been faster, personal demands have never been greater, and stress levels have never been higher than they are today. Many of us, unable or unwilling to slow down long enough to enjoy life, are responding to these pressures by shifting into automatic pilot and watching life pass us by.
Today, when we are all living at warp speed, itâ s too easy to lose perspective, too easy to forget about the things that matter, and too easy to lose sight of the priceless things that we once treasured. We must remember that we canâ t turn back the clock. What we can do is put on the brakes, take a deep breath, consider the values that are most important to us, and improve our lives.
Itâ s the Thought that Counts provides over 500 thought-provoking lessons to inspire a richer life. It reveals the secrets of simplifying our lives, highlights the ingredients that make people successful, and examines the reasons why success doesn't always translate into happiness. Written for people of all ages, this book instills important principles while providing some of life's most meaningful lessons in a clever, practical, homespun way.
In a world where itâ s all to easy to ignore the high standards and values we once believed in, Itâ s the Thought that Counts offers the keys to living a balanced and meaningful life. Replenish your energies, re-establish your priorities, and re-introduce yourself to those things in life you hold close to your heart. Itâ s the Thought that Counts can be your compass to a rich, ethical, rewarding life.
