The story of a Cape Cod boat captain, filmed as "Captain Hurricane" in 1935, starring James Barton, Helen Westley and Gene Lockhart. Signed inscription from Bassett on the front endpaper: "Very truly yours, Sara Ware Bassett." Bassett was a prolific writer, many times using Cape Cod settings, but her signed books seem to be uncommon. Very Good (gilt of covers bright but with "The" at the top of the spine with a bit of rubbing). $185.00. Seller Inventory # 1373
