System of Logistic — Willard Van Orman Quine Harvard University Press, Cambridge (Mass.), 1934. Hardback cloth. A genuinely desirable early Quine item: A System of Logistic (1934), in the original cloth binding, signed by W. V. Quine on the title page (see close-up photo). Signature & provenance: The book was signed in person by W. V. Quine in 1996 at a conference at the University of Reading — witnessed directly by me at the time. The signature is clearly visible on the title page. Edition / publishing details: Harvard University Press, Cambridge, Massachusetts Copyright page dated 1934 (Also shows the London distribution line: Humphrey Milford / Oxford University Press) Condition: Ex-library copy from University of Reading Library: library plate/stamps, barcode/labels and accession markings present (all shown in photos). Cloth boards show general age wear; some rubbing/handling marks consistent with a 1930s hardback and library life. Binding appears sound; pages show normal age toning. No dust jacket (if originally issued). Please study the photos carefully — you will receive the exact copy shown. Happy to provide any additional photos on request (e.g., signature close-up, copyright page, spine, any marks/defects). Why this is worth having: Ideal for collectors of 20th-century analytic philosophy, logic, Harvard imprints, or Quine material — and especially appealing because it is signed and has clear institutional provenance as a former university library copy.…
