First printing. Published by Walker Books, London in 1987. Spine ends slightly bumped and with even tanning to the text block. Slightest of creasing to the dustjacket at the top of the spine. Inscribed by the author ( As 'Andrew') to 'Sally' and dated in the year of publication. Included is a folded newspaper article entitled 'King of the Cat Bores' also from the year of publication, examining the author's relationship with cats ( presumably on the publication of the novel ). Not price clipped. Publisher’s price of £8.95. Overall, a near-fine copy with a charming inscription by the author.
