The editor, Christopher Ricks, has transcribed four variant texts of "As The Story Was Told," enhancing the text with selections from other Beckett titles. A nice typographical presentation, printed in two colors; the endpapers reproduce Beckett's manuscript in holograph facsimile. Rare in this format; this is the only advance copy of this publication that we have seen.
