Hardcover bound in premium Verona cloth. Handbound in a sewn board binding. A stunning, fine-press presentation of Ted Chiang’s masterwork novella, which served as the basis for the Academy Award-nominated film Arrival. Story of Your Life explores the profound psychological, emotional, and linguistic transformations of a linguist tasked with decoding an alien language, ultimately altering her perception of time, memory, and human mortality. This release marks Subterranean Press’s first-ever book printed via letterpress, making it a highly desirable cornerstone piece for speculative fiction collectors.
