[Rock Music Photography] SIGNED FIRST EDITION, LIMITED GALLERY EDITION (a trade hardback was also issued). Quarto (31 x 26cm), two volumes in publisher's red paper-covered clamshell box, titled in white. Large hardback (30 x 25cm). Limited to 1000 copies, this being no.371, SIGNED by the photographer in black marker to front pastedown. A fine copy in near fine box with some very light wear. A fine photographic document of the band backstage, in performance and at the studio, during the classic period 1965-1967, with a fully participant Brian Jones, taken by the Stones photographer Gerald Mankowitz, successor to David Bailey (who shot the covers of the Stones first two LPs). With additional text in the form of interviews from Mankowitz and Marianne Faithfull. Together with the accompanying portfolio booklet of the later Stones line-up in 1982, featuring Ronnie Wood as second guitarist.
