Schaitberger (General President of the International Association of Fire Fighters) on the second free endpaper. This copy is signed by President Barack Obama on the title page, Senator Joe Biden on the back cover and Senator Hillary Clinton on the preface. An exceptional collection of signatures from the 2008 democratic presidential field. Provenance: The signatures were obtained by Ricky Kleinman, a member of the International Association Fire Fighters union, who is cited multiple times throughout the book. From Mr. Kleinman: "With the exception of Obama, the signatures were obtained during the last months of 2007 while the then Democratic candidates were campaigning in Iowa ahead of the Iowa Caucus held on January 3, 2008. The Chris Dodd and Joe Biden signatures were obtained on November 19, 2007, at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Des Moines.
