Signed by the author to the half title. Some spotting to the dust jacket verso, otherwise very good plus or near fine condition. Maynard's autobiography is a brutally honest, no-holds-barred memoir written at the height of his Heartbeat success. Praised for its refreshing lack of vanity, the book chronicles his journey from a working-class child performer to one of Britain's highest-paid television stars, while candidly detailing dramatic swings between extreme wealth and bankruptcy, wild off-stage life, and personal flaws before finding career redemption later in life.
