Volume 2 in the Overland to the Pacific series; Ex-library copy, with a few labels, ink stamps and notations; Mr Hulbert's lenghty, personal ink inscription to "The Chief" on ffep, dated May, 1933; Several pages uncut at the fore-edge; Textblock exceptionally clean and tight; Lightly character-soiled blue cloth binding, worn at the spine extremities with a hint of wear at the board corners. Small gouge in the spine cloth, affecting the 'T' in 'Trail'; A library label on the spine and one on the front cover have been removed, leaving minor surface abrasion; Original dust jacket remnants are glued to the fep and rear free endpaper; 301p., including index. Rittenhouse 313. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
