(Cape Town, South Africa: Howard Timmins undated [circa 1959]). First Edition. Publisher's pale yellow, cloth-backed boards with green lettering to the front board and spine. Green end-papers. About VG (spine a bit foxed, bumps to the boards, some tanning to the end-papers). Inscribed by the Author to the front free end-paper: "To Anthony --/ with kindest regards/ & many thanks for your/ assistance in the Salisbury Snake Park/ R M Isemonger/ 14-12-59/ Salisbury. SR." The fair dustwrapper is a rather tired example with large chips at the spine ends. Laid in are a Christmas Card and Postcard addressed to the recipient of this book (Anthony Micheli). Only one copy on COPAC. Photographs/scans available upon request.
