This is a boxed set of the Raina Telgemeier classics "Smile" and "Sisters" in a slipcase with the original shrink-wrap cut away only enough to take out the two books so the author-artist could sign the books and add sketches to each. Both books are pristine and unread, stored in archival conditions since the event where the books were signed in 2014. Please see my attached photos.

This special boxed set contains Telgemeier's #1 "New York Times"-bestselling and Eisner award-winning graphic memoir Smile and its companion, Sisters.
In Smile, Raina wants to be a normal 12-year-old.
But when she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth, she begins a long, frustrating journey with
- braces,
- surgery,
- hideous headgear
- and even a retainer with fake teeth attached.
And on top of all that, there's a major earthquake, boy confusion and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.
In Sisters, Raina can't wait to be a big sister, but once Amara is born she realizes things won't be quite what she had expected...or hoped.
Despite Amara's cuteness, she is a cranky, grouchy baby and mostly prefers to play by herself.
Their relationship doesn't improve much over the years but when a baby brother enters the picture and their parents' relationship starts to struggle, they realize they must figure out how to get along.
They are sisters, after all.
- Full-colour graphic novels, based on Raina's own expriences growing up.
- Raina is also the illustrator of The Baby-Sitters Club Graphic Novels

Store description
Virginia Books & More was born out of the need to reduce a massive library of new books accumulated over a 42 year career in bookselling and publishing (from Tolstoy to Tinkerbell, as Paul Simon might say). Most are unread, many are signed by the authors. I'm also offering some posters, used books, advance review copies and other ephemera. Please email me with any comments or questions, and thanks in advance for your purchases.
