Item description from seller

420 x 315mm. Boxed with titled pastedown. Privately published by Robert Violette in a boxed edition of 60 signed and numbered copies (of which this is number 38). Includes a sheet of text on the artist by Pernilla Holmes. Published on the occasion of dinner at the Tigerpalast, Frankfurt, on Thursday 9th October 2003. Described as a triptych, this contains three minimal landscape colour photographs by the artist on Kodak branded photopaper, together with a large fold-out print on yellow paper. Includes original glassine envelopes for each photo. Not in OCLC. A very rare publication by Hadrian Pigott, geologist turned artist (a graduate of the Royal College of Art), known for his works involving soaps, basins, and concepts of hygiene. Pigott had notable London exhibitions at Victoria Miro and the Saatchi Gallery's 'Young British Artists V' show. 'Silver Howe' dates from a pivotal moment in Pigott's career when he was relocating from London to set up a studio in Penzance, Cornwall.
