Glossy illustrated boards show light shelfwear; bottom front corner lightly bumped. Binding tight; pages clean. Inscribed by Siegfried and Roy on front endpaper: "To James! 'SARMOTI' thanks" and dated 2001. The word is an acronym for 'Siegfried And Roy, Masters Of The Impossible.' A showcase of photos of the duo's Little Bavaria, 'home of the white lions of Timbavala.' No ISBN or printing stated; this appears to be a souvenir hardcover sold at the Mirage casino and resort, where the duo performed 1990-2003. 'We share with you some special selections from Siegfried & Roy's personal archives, as well as some of the world's greatest photographers, who through their talent and magic of their lenses have captured our world between worlds.' No dust jacket, evidently as published, and surprisingly uncommon, particularly signed. The pair died in 2021 and 2020. 8-3/4 x 11-1/4".

Hi all! I've been accumulating volumes for well over half my life, mostly autographed and inscribed copies. Wrote a book on book collecting for a Random House imprint in 2004 and another, "Book Collecting Now: The Value of Print in a Digital Age," for Chatwin Books, published in 2019. I intended to keep most of these books forever, but my wife and I decided to move to Manhattan, which meant downsizing from an enormous suburban house, with practically unlimited bookshelf space, to an apartment in Greenwich Village.
