About this Item
Jerry Cacopardo the young Sing Sing inmate who testified against his uncle Paul, steadfastly maintained that he was serving time for a murder Paul committed. When a letter turned up that showed he had been the fall guy for his uncle, a judge vacated his sentence in 1952, 16 years after he had been jailed. Given his freedom he attended seminary and eventually became pastor of large Presbyterian churches in New Jersey and Florida. First printing, with scuffing, closed tears to the dust-jacket. Inscribed by Cacopardo. 5¾" - 8½". Seller Inventory # 276337
