Sorry if I did not and thus anyways gives me the opportunity to send you my thanks but also a good wish signal for 1977- may it be a fruitful year! yours Larry Durrell". Plus envelope 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" addressed to Hugo Manning with postage stamps 1952 in Durrell's handwriting. Manning was a poet and journalist and was a close friend of Durrell as well as Henry Miller and Jorge Luis Borges in the literary field.
