Privately published, 1938, 148 pages. Illustrated with drawings by R. Winslow Myers, caricatures by Andres Audiffred, and photographs. 126 numbered pages followed by a section entitled "Queens of Churubusco", 12 unnumbered pages (photographs of elegantly dressed women from the years 1927 through 1937 who were chosen from the attendees at the annual "Black and White Ball" to be "Queen Churubusco" for the year. When issued, the book contained an additional, special 16 unnumbered pages, each perforated near the spine, all blank and ready for future supplements. In handwoven Mexican decorative cloth, Numbered Limited Edition #132 with no limitation cited. INSCRIBED to "Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Hutchinson" and SIGNED by HARRY WRIGHT. The Supplement circa 1938 has 8 pages numbered 141 to 148, illustrated with photographs. The supplement contains a photograph and a two-page description of the Harry Wight Permanent Trophy. This supplement is scarce and is not mentioned by the three famous golf bibliographers, Joe Murdoch, Dick Donovan and Rand Jerris in their books on the subject. The second 1940 Supplement is not included. Condition: Very Good-, First Edition. Bright cover with wear to bottom two corners. Title label is rubbed and soiled. Supplement 1 tipped in unprofessionally. Pages 51-76 have a 1/2 inch tear near top of spine. Front cover bowed. Front and back endpapers show slight water residue due to the use of misting to decrease bowing of covers. I will be adding volumes to my Golf List weekly.
