A Good hard cover book without dust jacket, signed by Author. . Red cloth covers with gold gilt lettering to front cover and spine. Corners lightly bumped, front cover has a slight ripple in the cloth that runs lengthwise. Spine is sunned, though title is quite readable, spine ends a bit pulled. Internally, front hinge just a bit pulled, Author's autograph and "New York, 1929" (the year of publication) to half title. Page edges are a bit toned, otherwise nice and clean. Laid in is a photo of a body of water, with the caption "Looking out over this view of the lovely Hudson River from her two-hundred-year-old house in Piermont, Elizabeth Shepley Sergeant wrote her tribute to America's beloved poet." (Robert Frost) A good, solid copy of an uncommon title. All of our books are individually inspected and described. Never X-library unless specifically described as such.
