Believing that God had called her to take over Miracle Valley, " Pastor" Thomas and her cult of followers set out to do just that - with explosive results. Eventually the national media jumped on the story and state and national politics came into play with the appearance of Jesse Jackson and Arizona Governor Bruce Babbit.
