1984 FIRST PRINTING of FIRST Edition -- WITH postcard from the expedition SIGNED by team members. Original gray hardcover with silver lettering spine. The book is in fine condition with clean covers, no fading, no rubbing, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding, no foxing. The original dust jacket is in fine condition with no tears, no chips, clean, no fading, original printed price still present on corner of front flap, 100% complete. The postcard has a photographic image of Shishapangma on the fornt and two Chinese stamps on the back with Chinese cancel stamp dated 1982-4-20. It is hand-signed by all of the team memebers: Doug Scott, Alex MacIntyre, Paul Braithwaite, Roger Baxter Jones, and Nick Prescott. The card is in near fine condition. Alex MacIntyre singed no copies of this book since it was published posthumously, MacIntyre having been killed by rockfall on the south face of Annapurna in October 1982 . The book measures 24cm tall x 155mm, and has 322 pages, 58 b\w photos, 7 maps, 5 appendices, 5 mini appendices, index. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
