3604 copies printed. xv, 238pp. Black cloth lettered in red on the spine. Signed and inscribed by August Derleth on the front free endpaper: "For Adolph F. Nicolai / with cordial regards / Sincerely / August F. Derleth." The first collection of Solar Pons stories. Introduction by Vincent Starrett. Front upper corner tip bruised, the first few leaves have a faint corner crease (the paper used was very thin). An appealing near fine copy in near fine dustjacket with light fading to the red portion of the spine panel and minimal wear. Dustjacket art by Ronald Clyne. Jaffery 12. ; Octavo; Signed by Author.
