First edition stated, first printing. Signed by Langston Hughes and inscribed to a former owner on the front free endpaper. Bound in publisher's black cloth boards with titles stamped in lilac over orange cloth spine stamped in black. Near Fine with tanning to contents. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with toning to the spine and edges, light soiling, light worming to flap fold, and light edge wear with shallow chipping. A great copy of this Harlem Renaissance classic work of poetry.
