One of 150 first editions on handmade paper. Signed on tipped in piece of paper. Spine has been rebacked, with original buckram laid over the seam, spine strip has been placed over top of new spine cloth. Not the nicest job, but preserves original gilt decorations well enough. Otherwise, book is quite near fine, internally there is some toning to page where signature is tipped in, else clean and bright. Pages untrimmed on fore and bottom edge, gilt to top edge, octavo of 230 pages. Fitted slipcase in matching red buckram may be original. Satisfaction guaranteed.
